All of the actions taken on a permit are shown in its timeline. A permits timeline will detail everything that has happened on a permit and shows things such as:
When a permit was Created or Issued and by whom
When a permit was Approved, Rejected, or Discarded and by who (where relevant)
When a permit was Opened
When a periodic check was done on a permit and by whom
When a permit was Transferred and to whom
When an extension was requested and who approved the extension
When a participant was added to a permit and who they were
When a permit Expires
When a post permit check was done and by whom
When final sign off was done and by whom
All permit actions are recorded and timestamped, and each record also shows the person who performed the action. ⌚
Viewing a permits timeline on the mobile application
To view a permit's timeline on the mobile application, you must first log into the mobile or tablet application. Once logged in, you must:
1. Tap 'Permits' on the home page to be taken to the permits available for your selected project
2. Tap the permit that you wish to see the timeline for
3. Tap 'Timeline' at the bottom of the page (you can also tap 'Permit Summary' at the top and then 'Timeline'
4. This is where you can see the permits' full journey
Viewing a permits timeline on the web application
To view a permits timeline on the web application, you must:
1. Log into the SiteAssist Web app
2a. Click 'Projects'
2b. Select your project
3a. Click 'Permits'
3b. Click the permit you wish to see the timeline for
Note: You can select any permit to see its timeline, and do not need to initially go to the 'Permits' page in order to see a permit's timeline.
4a. Once on a permits information page, click 'Timeline' to view the permit's full journey
4b. Here you can see all of the actions that have taken place on a permit (you may need to scroll up or down)
