As a Permit Holder (Supervisor/ Operative/ Responsible Person etc.)
You may receive a permit that has been Issued to you by a Project Admin or User who has Issue permissions.š¤³
Accepting a permit Issued to you on the mobile applicationš²
To receive a permit, you must first log into the SiteAssist mobile or tablet application. You must then tap the 'Permits' option on the homepage and then:
1. Tap on permit that has been sent to you. Under status, you will see 'Sent to Permit Holder' which indicates that the permit has been Issued to you.
2. At the top, you will see a box to receive the permit. Tapping 'Accept' will allow you to begin accepting the permit.
3a. Review the initial permit information (location, start and end date and time, summary etc.) provided by the issuer of the permit
3b. Click 'Go to Questions'
4a. [Optional] If you need to answer your own set of questions, then answer them on the next page (not shown in the below images) and then click Submit
5a. Check the answers provided by the permit issuer
5b. Tap 'Submit'
6. You will then need to also confirm your signature. Tap 'Sign and Submit' to accept the permit.
Note: at this point, if a permit requires approval, it will be sent to a User with approval permissions or Project Admin but if it does not, it will go to the Pre-Start or Open status.
Accepting a permit Issued to you on the web applicationš»
To receive a permit, you must first log into the SiteAssist web application. You must then:
1a. Click the 'Projects' page
1b. Click the correct project
2a. Click the 'Permits' page
2b. Click the permit that has been sent to you (it may be easier to select the 'My Permits' tab at the top. You can see that the status of the permit will be 'Sent to Permit Holder'
3a. Once you have selected the permit, you will notice a button at the top right-hand side of the screen that says 'Receive Permit'. Click this and then;
3b. Click 'Receive Permit' again.
4a. You may be asked your own set of questions depending on the permit type. If questions are present, you will need to answer these.
4b. Click 'Next' to continue.
5. Lastly, you will see the summary page. This will allow you to check the answers you have provided (if any were required) prior to submitting/accepting the permit.
Note: at this point, if a permit requires approval, it will be sent to a User with approval permissions or Project Admin but if it does not, it will go to the Pre-Start or Open status
