Saving and deleting permit drafts

You can now save started permits as drafts both from the mobile application and from the web application. 📥

Drafts will allow you to start a permit on one device and continue it on another device.

To save a permit on the mobile or tablet application, you will need to login and then:

1. Tap on the '+' icon to begin the permit creation process

2. Tap on 'New Permit'

3a. Select your project, permit type, location, start & end date and, if you want, a permit summary.

3b. Tap 'Next'

4a. Answer any of the permits questions

4b. Tap this icon to save the permit as a draft

5a. Tap this box to leave a Draft Note/ title

5b. Tap 'Save New Draft'

Your draft has now been saved.

6a. On the permits page, if you click the 'Drafts' tab, you will now see your saved draft.

6b. Click 'Delete' if you wish to discard the draft

6c. Click 'Continue' if you wish to carry on with the creation of the permit from where you saved it.

Note: Any permits you clone will also be in your drafts

To save a permit on the web application, you will need to first login and then:

1a. Click the 'New' button

1b. Click on 'New Permit' to begin the permit creation process

2. Select your project, permit type, location, start & end date and, if you want, a permit summary.

3. Tap 'Next'

4. Answer any of the permits questions (but do not submit it for approval/ issue)

5. Click the 'Save Draft' button to save the permit as a draft

6a. Click in the 'Draft Name' box, to leave a title for your permit draft

6b. Click 'Save Draft'

Your draft has now been saved.

7a. Click your permit draft if you wish to carry on with the creation of the permit from where you saved it.

7b. Click the bin icon if you wish to delete the draft

Note: Any permits you clone will also be in your drafts
